Randy Dragging

This is Randy driving by in his pickup while leaving the air out of the suspension - hence the dragging.

Coffee Break

On one of the breaks at the conference, I had a coffee at this cool little coffee shop down the street.

Changed by His Grace Conference

Yesterday I attended this conference in Mt. Joy. The speaker was Dan Mohler. God has given Dan a huge insight in to grace, freedom in Christ, our identity and faith righteousness. I'm beginning to realize that the more I understand the Gospel, the more I realize that there is a lot more to understand. I am so accepted by God. He loves me. He is so awesome!

This Makes Me Hungry

Lookin' Good

This is at the site of the ship hotel. (See prior entry.)

This is Good!

According to Romans 5:17, as believers, we are the recipients of:

1. God's abundant provision of grace - divine ability
2. The gift of righteousness - in exchange for my sin.

The results; we reign in life through Jesus - which means we are victorious.

WOW!!! I am pressing in to this reality! This is how I want to live!

Route 30 Sights

This ship styled hotel was a popular destination in the mid 1900's. It was burned down some years ago. It was located west of Bedford on Route 30.

Spent the Night in Breezewood.

School House

And I went to school at this place in St. Thomas during 4th or 5th grade. I hated it.

First Car

Route 30 has a lot of history. There is even some personal history. Here is where I bought my first car in about 1977 - a 1974 Plymouth Sebring Classic from Shively Motors in Chambersburg.

Elephant Collection

Their are over 6000 elephant trinkets in this place.

Mr. Ed's

We stopped in at Mr. Ed's Elephant Museum and Candy Shop. I have driven by this place hundreds of times over the years. It's the first time I ever stopped.

Route 30

We decided to travel on US Route 30. We picked up old 30 just a few blocks from Jons and headed west. This is the old bridge that crosses the Susquehanna River.

Next Stop

We stopped in at Jon & Michelles to see the new fence that they built in their back yard. That was our excuse - you can see the real reason for yourself.

Gwen's cat Simba

Lunch at Gwens

She made us pizza and breadsticks.

First Stop - Church

This is Lebanon Christian Fellowship where we have been attending for the last year.

Ready to Go

Ella Mae and I are taking a little road trip over the holiday.

My "Retro" Riding Lawn Mower

Being retro or old-school is cool these days, so driving this old Snapper lawn mower should make me a really cool guy, don't you think. There is a guy who attends our Tuesday evening Addicts to Disciple Group who likes to read from the King James Version because it's old-school. Kids like to wear retro t-shirts. Sports teams wear retro uniforms. My son and his friends like to make vehicles old-school. So this is just my feeble attempt to fit in.

I don't know how old this mower is, but it is very similar to the ones I used to work on thirty plus years ago. I know that this might be hard for some of you to believe, but I was a certified Snapper mechanic in my late teens. Now I can't even change my own oil. What happened?

Not much exciting is happening around here, so that is why I am forced to write about lawn mowers.

Class Time

Taking a training called Criminality and Addiction. Do you think the two are related? We shall see.
